I hold a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Taxation from The University of Melbourne, I am also a Chartered Accountant and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Previously I was a senior partner with Ernst & Young (EY) and held the role of EY Oceania Leader for vCFO Services before commencing my own consulting practice – Elia Adams Advisory.   

I have advised businesses across a broad range of industries including MedTech, bioscience, construction, health, retail, banking, SaaS, and wealth management.  Specifically, I have advised businesses on tax and regulatory compliance, business structuring, M&A transaction due diligence, process improvement, and strategic planning and execution. My experience is both broad and deep.  

With over 25 years of experience as a trusted business advisor and tax professional working with a broad and diverse range of enterprises from pre-revenue start-ups to some of world’s largest and best-known brands, I can bring valuable insights and experience into what it takes for businesses to succeed.
